At the close of 2017, the Father O'Hanlon Council disbursed almost $40,000 to Catholic schools, local parishes, charitable causes including Catholic radio, Catholic Charities, St. Vincent dePaul and many other charitable programs with ties to the Church and community. Recently, the Council presented Bibles to two Eagle Scouts, organized the annual K of C Free Throw competition for boys and girls ages 9 thru 14 at OLV School, ran an Outreach Dinner for some of the area's home bound and shut-ins, and sponsored a Spaghetti dinner to benefit of Fr. Charles’ Anawim Project.  Looking ahead, we will conduct the baby bottle campaign, work the Blue-White game for the benefit of the Diocesan Seminarian Fund and host two breakfasts at the OLV Activities Center to benefit the Anawim project and Fr. Ralph's school in Africa. We will be observing our 60th Anniversary in October with a Mass and dinner with Bishop Barchak as our featured speaker.
